Molletta Chair: when the inspiration comes from a common object<\/h1>\n

Inspired<\/span> by the shape and the <\/span>lightness<\/span> of a <\/span>common<\/span> wooden clothespin, the \u201c Molletta Chair \u201d (Molletta means \u201cClothespin\u201d in Italian) is a<\/span>n<\/span> original piece, designed by Hagar Bar Gil, a young Israeli designer graduat<\/span>ed<\/span> at<\/span> the Florence Institute of Design International (FIDI)<\/a>, that is going to be producer as <\/span>a limited edition realized by Spini Interni s.r.l.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"This chair consists in a combination of two diagonal back legs carved out of solid oak wood joined to two delicately placed front legs.<\/p>\n

The back legs provide a unique shape that supports the back, made from a curved thin plywood sheet; this material is also used for the seat.<\/p>\n
